About Us

Lil e’s Ice Cream opened in 2018, in Plain City Ohio. For 5 seasons we operated a small family ice cream shop. In 2021 we added Lil e’s Ice Cream Truck. After 5 very successful years at our lil shop, we made a bittersweet decision to sell the ice cream shop real estate/equipment. This difficult decision was based on one very simple reason…We needed more family time.

So as we head into our 6th “season”, it is solely Lil e’s Ice Cream Truck. Lil e’s Ice Cream Truck will maintain a high priority in continuing to serve in Plain City.

Dondi and Christy Hatcher are the proud owners of Lil e's Ice Cream Truck.  Since 2018, Lil e's has been a family affair. Christy, and daughter in law Cheyenne, are the two consistent members who spend their summers working on all things Lil e's.  All members of our family reside right here in Plain City, which is why Plain City is our target area.  We take great pride in supporting the town that helps us be so successful!
